To be clear, I'd never buy this toy-like xDrill from Robbox; in the demo video you can actually see the run-out in the chuck and bit. Also, the last thing I want is a power tool with an LED touchscreen.
However, it's got at least one killer feature--the ability to indicate when you're drilling dead level (I assume this works for plumb too).

Wanting the ability to drill perfectly perpendicular holes is the only reason I still covet a drill press. Why doesn't every handheld drill have this feature?

This has been my go to solution for most of my level/plumb driving.
A drill press is not a great comparison , nits a completely different tool And its meant To drill perpendicular to the material. A drill with a level will be parallel to the floor, very useful when installing a shelf. The angle lock feature, the depth stop are good ideas. Of course levels on drills are decades ideas but have fallen our favour, likely because they probably could not have been well calibrated to the motor and chuck in the injection moulded casing.
a level or plumb indicator on a drill assumes that the material or surface being drilled into is level or plumb to begin with.
LOL, as everything today.... "it should have a touch screen".....really? just because you can does not mean you should. Funny stuff. I actually don't mind the white, sets it apart from other drills.
Looks like a toy. I also liked the idea of typing a depth and then the drill stops, so you don't have to put tape on your drill. So many tech features that it makes me think it's not a real product.
