Communications firm Novita, which specializes in working with architecture and design firms, is hosting a "Diversity in Design" town hall discussion today at 11am EST. All are free to join.
Novita SVP Joseph Cephas will host architect Maya Bird-Murphy, founder of Chicago Mobile Makers, a nonprofit that hosts design/build skills youth workshops; interior designer Ronnie Belzaire, a former design manager for Gensler who now serves as Corporate Real Estate Manager for Daimler; and Angelita Scott, Principal of consultancy Angie Scott Design and Assistant Professor of Interior Design at Georgia Southern University.
During the talk, which will be interactive, the group will both examine the role of design in social justice issues, as well as field viewer questions. Starting at 11am EST, you can join the talk here.
