Sunwood's materials blew me away. It looks like rustic barn wood… Rain Noe 42 of 63

…then you see it's just super-thick veneer, something like super-plywood. So presumably you get the natural-wood look without having to worry about wood movement. Rain Noe 43 of 63

The bulk of the Holz-Handwerk show is tools, machinery and processes. But there were also vendors displaying a variety of takes on wood and wood processing, from CNC timber framing to funky finishes to fun with veneers.

Wow, those mosaic panels are amazing! Hard to imagine them fabricating on a production basis.
