Mühür/ Imprint jewellery by Asli Kiyak Ingin Asli Kiyak Ingin was inspired to this 'Jewellery that leaves a mark' by a street in Istanbul that is dedicated to artisanal stamp and puncheon making. Atomteller by Mia Grau and Andree Weissert The watercolour decorations of Atomteller show a nostalgic view of nuclear power plants as the "Cathedrals of a technological world-view," a soon to be vanished icon of the German landscape. Anki Delfmann 23 of 41

Foldable furniture by Flattishfold Lars and Katja Führmann had a cohabitation problem: Lars wanted a football table in the flat, Katja didn't. So they made this foldable model that fits under the sofa when collapsed. Flattishfold is their collection of foldable furniture made from birch screen printing boards and colourful cable ties as hinges. It comes flat-packed in vintage army laundry bags. Konrad by Moebelcompagnie Moebelcompagnie's massive oak chopping block and breakfast table Konrad is named after the designer's grandfather who was a butcher. Travelbox Olot by Stefan Prattes Stefan Prattes had the idea for Travelbox Olot when facing the challenge of taking his beloved bike along to an internship in Spain. Instead of going for the usual shipping crates made of plywood, he opted for giving the structure he needed both added purpose and appeal, by creating a full set of furniture that folds out of the box. Cologne Design Week consists of two major events: IMM (Internationale Möbelmesse), "the most important furnishing show in the world's most important furnishing market" in the fairgrounds of Kölnmesse, and the alternative Passagen "An exhibition event focusing on current trends in design," spread throughout countless venues in the city.

Anki Delfmann

Anki is a senior independent design consultant working in product innovation, design strategy and user experience. She balances her own projects with consulting jobs for small and international companies including Vodafone, Trivago and Fatmap. Her work has varied from designing a FAD award winning baby chair, snowboard boots and 3D UX for social networks, outdoor adventure and digital city twins, to design strategy, UX and brand consulting for startups.
Having earned her Diplom and Masters in Cologne, Sydney and Barcelona, she now splits her time between London and Cologne, and has made her suitcase an integral part of life.
