ICFF 2007 The ICFF expanded in scale at the Javits Center this year opening up a new room to accommodate the rise of young designers exhibiting. Pure Austrian Design took the stage (literally) with a solid collection of work and many of the designers available on site to meet with. On the other side of the Hall, the British were out in full force, Parson design students created the highly visual 'ICFFscape Bar' and the Bernhardt 'Global Edition' booth offered visitors a welcome place to rest their eyes. http://www.core77.com/blog/events/core77s_new_york_design_week_roundup_all_posts_in_one_place_6415.aglen 5 of 285

With barely enough time to recover from Milan in April, New York Design Week (May 19 - 22) shifted its focus back to Manhattan with the strongest ICFF show seen in years, schools participated with high concept booths and well resolved prototypes. The crowd pleaser was HauteGREEN, clearly the most outstanding satellite exhibition for those on the design trail.
