MOVEMENT 3 / SPACE Marking the end of Winter, the concept for Movement 3 was a Spring Garden Party inspired by Renoir's "The Luncheon of the Boating Party." The space takes it's cues from the paintings color palette and the intimate, communal experience expressed in the 19th century scene.

MOVEMENT 3 / SPACE The wall fixtures are designed to look like the quintessential elements found in a still life painting with white coated crystal glasses and fake grapes.

MOVEMENT 1 / SPACE What Happens When is a transforming restaurant in Soho, New York where the food, interior and sound changes every 30 days for 9 months. The team behind the project are John Fraser (chef), Emilie Baltz (brand/graphic designer), and Elle Kunnos de Voss (interior designer).

MOVEMENT 1 / SPACE Each transformation is called a Movement, the concept for Movement 1 used the actual architectural drawings mapped onto the surfaces at a one to one scale. The ceiling has a 12" grid of hooks to easily reconfigure the lighting.

MOVEMENT 1 / SPACE Hanging houses float over the tables, the deconstructed chandeliers take their cue from the classic chandelier with cut cardboard prisms and large globe light bulbs. The pendant lighting use pages taken from a local thrift store cook book.
