Join the International Interior Design Association (IIDA NY) for their Professional Development series, which will feature a panel of 3 award-winning designers as they touch upon the influence of Scandinavian design in America. Moderated by Kelly Beamon of Architectural Record and SNAP, designers Brad Ascalon, Founder of Brad Ascalon Studio; Joe Doucet, Founder of Joe Doucet x Partners; and Ghislaine Viñas, owner of Ghislaine Vinas Interior Design, will discuss how Scandinavian lifestyle and trends have had a resurgence in the last decade. The conversation will also include how Scandinavian design has migrated and influenced modern interiors and products in the North American market.
Fittingly located at the beautiful in Volvo Hall at Scandinavia House — The Nordic Center in America, cocktails, food, and a networking opportunity will immediately follow the panel on the outdoor terrace.
Tickets can be purchased in advance of the event here — $10 for Students/Educators, $15 for IIDA Members, and $35 for Non-Members.
