New York Times Magazine Type: 2015 - Present

Type Directors Club has recently opened its new summer exhibition New York Times Magazine Type: 2015 - Present in New York City, highlighting brand-new typography and innovative design used by an energetic team to bring a fresh graphic approach to must-read journalism and commentary published each Sunday.

The exhibition includes covers, spreads, and special issues with a focus on typographic highlights since the magazine's 2015 redesign. Curated by Gail Bichler, design director of The New York Times Magazine, the exhibition features the magazine's new typefaces designed by Henrik Kubel and some of the magazine's most powerful, unforgettable imagery.

The exhibition is on display at Type Directors Club through September 5. The exhibition is free and open to the public Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm by appointment.
