L A M P (Lighting Architecture Movement Project)'s 3nd annual design competition has the mandate to connect growing pockets of talent to commercial markets in our home country of Canada and elsewhere throughout North America, Europe and beyond. The further our message can be cast, the brighter the path for those embarking into this ever burgeoning field. Last year we received exeptional submissions from all over Canada, the United States, Scandinavia, Europe, Malaysia, Japan, Australia and South America. With your participation, L A M P hopes to further grow that network this year, especially in light of 2015 being the Unesco proclaimed International Year of Light. L A M P strives to accomplish its goals of attracting the highest calibre of work by offering top level critique from those designers, architects and firms who stand out for their contributions to the design world. This year, with the continued support of such fine organizations as GRAY Magazine, Inform Interiors, Tom Dixon Studio, Bocci Design and Falken Reynolds to name a few, L A M P is proving its positive and reliable presence for emerging designers.
