Top furniture builders come together for LA*SHO
Contestants from two furniture-building reality TV shows to exhibit at Think Tank Gallery
The show is curated and presented by furniture maker Jason Radcliffe, owner of 44 Steel, who in 2009 founded Cleveland's annual design show called F*SHO. After competing in the first season of Spike TV's furniture-building competition reality show "Framework," Radcliffe decided to bring the contemporary furniture show to Los Angeles.
Radcliffe has recruited top furniture makers to participate in LA*SHO, many who competed on "Framework" and HGTV's "Ellen's Design Challenge." The initial list of designers and makers confirmed to showcase their work includes:
§ Jory Brigham – San Luis Obispo, California
§ Garrett Brown – Denver, Colorado
§ Lacey Campbell – Toledo, Ohio
§ Peter Debelak – Cleveland, Ohio
§ Gaspar De Jesus – Los Angeles, California
§ Nate Hall – San Diego, California
§ Freddy Hill – Cleveland, Ohio
§ Leslie Shapiro Joyal – Los Angeles, California
§ Brandon Monk Munoz – Fullerton, California
§ Wesley November – Huntington Beach, California
§ Jason Radcliffe – Cleveland, Ohio
§ Joe Ribic – Cleveland, Ohio
§ Rahil Taj – Los Angeles, California
§ Stephen Yusko – Cleveland, Ohio
LA*SHO is an exciting way to highlight the work of such talented makers. The event is sponsored by 44 Steel, Zombie Blood Hot Sauce and Think Tank Gallery. In addition to the April 10 show, the furniture show is open "by appointment only" on Saturday, April 11. Call (916) 670-3801 for an appointment.
