LUNARBOX is a new type of modular playground for cats that can be built upon freely. LUNARBOX can be used as a single unit or stacked and arranged into a playground for your cat to climb around on and chill in.

It's becoming more an more popular to show your taste and personality through interior design. However, it's not easy to find pet furniture that meets design expectations—there's a lot of standardized pet furniture in the market that doesn't take design into consideration. The LUNARBOX project began with the question: Could furniture for a pet become a design object that works in harmony within the home?

Most cats feel stability and comfort by entering certain places. We designed LUNARBOX to produce a rich dimensional beauty through bringing together the straight lines from the square shape and the curved lines found in the circular entrance. We think that the small round entrances found in typical indoor-pet houses have visual and spatial limitations, so we designed a two-dimensional entrance. As a result, the visual limitations of one-dimensional round entrances were lifted.

Rather than being a box shaped object, LUNARBOX acts as a new type of playground for cats, due to the potential to design the system however you please. When built up in two-dimensional or three-dimensional structures, LUNARBOX has a completely different formative beauty.

In terms of building up the product, we designed a special coated neodium magnetic system with PVC material. The magnetic force and the friction of coating on the surface of the magnets holds the modules together. It is safe and easy to build LUNABOX by placing special coated strong magnets on each corner of the steel part between the products.
