Slice is a contemporary take on bright neon signs.
Design: Yuval Tzur

Slice is a decorative wall light inspired by the style of 1980s clubs and design, with a high gloss colorful finish.
The slice is a single round aluminum mesh that has been bent in the middle to form an open slice with a diffused LED light inside.
The slices can be arranged in many compositions on the wall to create a playful display.

The colors make me think of the Tube, and that reminds me of how excited I am about the design of the fluorescent light diffusers on the new S7 trains. Those are also made from a metal mesh, except it's hexagonal holes punched in a flat sheet:
Which 1980s were these inspired by exactly?
