The "Out of the bag" concept is a lightweight, mobile storage furniture, reflecting on the topics of temporary living, (social) mobility and basic needs of refugees and other target groups, connected by the temporariness of living in the same place and short periods of tenancy.

Finding a relation between popular transportation tools, such as bags or sacks and luggages used by refugees, known as the refugee bag, the concept's core is the already existing IKEA Frakta bag. By stretching and re-conceptualizing this product, the set lends fully developed furniture within seconds, satisfying multiple needs. One of its most important merit is that this furniture, featuring spacious bags needs no out-load when moving. Once the legs are pulled out, the bag – including the already set shelves – can be easily transported and installed with the same ease, again and again, therefore it is always ready to use. Hence the name "out of the bag".
