Small, Simple Design Improvement: Native Union's Anchor Cable
Good things come to those who weight
Here's a good example of an everyday object with a small, thoughtful modification that improves the end user's experience. Native Union's Anchor Cable has a weighted Dungeons-and-Dragons-looking icosahedron surrounding the braided, non-tangle cable.
Enter a caption (optional)The non-slip, silicone-coated weight thus keeps the cable parked, removing the minor daily hassle of fishing for the thing when it slips off the edge of your desk. And while it may not be obvious from the photos, the weight can be slid along the cable, allowing the end user to place it where they like it.
