Why is this lazy? This is just another tool being used to get a job done more efficiently.
I don't have a problem with this system/tool, but if I were pressed to justify the word "lazy" it would be because the lines aren't crisp and ruler-sharp. For a sketch this is great, but if you put this up in a room full of razor sharp straight edge drawings, it's gonna stand out and people are going to start looking around for the person with the bent paperclip and elastic in their hand...
