Is it me, or is it always a little disappointing when you learn how a magic trick is actually done? I struggled with whether or not to post this one, but decided I am ultimately okay with removing magic from your lives. Don't say you never learn anything here!

Magic is one the the most fun ID challenges in the world (intentional deception! Wheee!), but the solution vs what you perceive is always going to be disappointing, no matter how many secret magnets and moving panels there are. Usually, that number is zero: the miracle is accomplished with a bent paperclip, a piece of cellotape and a rubber band. The the solution IS amazing, the effect usually isn't.
