There are plenty of tutorials for DIY chalkboard tables out there, but LucidiPevere's "Boiacca" table for Kristalia might just be the first production model—and if not, it's definitely the first one made of steel-reinforced cement:The Boiacca table... stands out for its material, typically used for modern architecture, which has been taken to the limit and is also increasingly used in the design field: cement with a special formula and internal reinforcements in stainless steel, the cement legs are incredibly thin, elegant and resistant, allowing the Boiacca table to be used either indoors or outdoors.
The "Boiacca" table comes in three sizes and, presumably, unlimited surface designs.
The product description also suggests tabletop hopscotch as a potential application, as demonstrated in the video (after the jump) with nary a "Do not attempt" or "Professional hopper / closed course" disclaimer...
No word on pricing (or litigation), but the Kristalia website notes that the "Boiacca" table is available as of March of this year.
