For our final look at New Zealand's unique jewelry vendor Bone Art Place, we wanted to shout-out some of their featured artists and their brilliant, intricate carving work.
Kerry and Amanda Thompson's two-tone stained bone pieces (above and below) knocked my socks off, and their ivory and pearl shell stuff (below) ain't too shabby either:
Rolfe Bax & Jackie Tump bring impossible intricacy to their wood pieces:
Anthony Bray-Heta works the materials of bone, silver and bronze in both Maori and Celtic styling:
There are more featured artists, too many to list here, on Bone Art Place's website. Give them a gander and you won't look at these materials the same way afterwards.

What a succinct and thorough explanation. I know that for many who love good handmade jewelry the idea of commissioning a piece may come up, but many are just too overwhelmed by the idea. Although fellow designers of any trade or craft tend to understand the hours put into anything handmade, your point about pricing was a good one. Many first to the process are shocked until you explain the time taken. Visit For <a hrehttp://www.mytokri.com/store/amazon-india/ f="">Amazon Jewellery Offers</a>
