The nutty Safe House, designed by Polish architecture firm KWK Promes, is a Modernist structure with a James-Bondian trick: Flip a switch and a series of sliding walls and rollgates buttons you up tighter than troops in a bunker.
There's no word on what the Safe House was actually designed for—perhaps it's sited in an area known for home invasions, or maybe the owner is really afraid of mosquitoes—but it would be great fun to flip that switch when you see a neighbor headed your way, providing a very concrete way of saying "No, you can't borrow any goddamn sugar."
