Stockholm Furniture Fair: Meeting Point and Business Center The eye to smallest detail was phenominal. Even things like the business center, which is usually hidden behind some dank corridor, gets massive design love. No one puts the business center in the corner.

Konst Smide: Ljusslinga Stockholm Furniture and Lighting Fair covers all aspect of lighting, this is just one of many LED fairy lights (string lights) twinkling. These matt coloured balls are particularly fun.

KullBerg, Catherine: Norwegian Forest Large Pendant Laser cutting is a big trend at this year's fair. Catherine does something quite lovely with the wood veneer. Look closely to spot the bits of leather interlacing. Craftmanship and innovation playing well together.

Lighthouse: Lux W1 Take a chunk of steel, expose it to the elements, admire the new patina, and in this case, bolt it to the wall with light. The off kilter beams of light emulating from these wall lamps were quite fetching. Damn those Icelandic folk got it goin' on.

Green Furniture: Laser Shelf This bookshelf was so cleverly laser cut. There is close to no waste. The laser cutting offers a natural hinging effect which is taken advantage of to form the shelves. So clever. They also got the green design award in Sweden.
