We all know this feeling: Whether you're Chow Yun Fat in a John Woo movie or Harvey Keitel in Reservoir Dogs, there are times when you're trying to pump two .45-caliber rounds into your opponent at the same time, but you get sick of having to carry two guns everywhere. "There has to be a better way!" you think.
"This is so inefficient"
Well, that better way is finally here! European gun manufacturer Arsenal Firearms has produced the AF2011-A1 Double Barrel Pistol, designed to "commemorate the legendary Colt 1911-A1," the .45 that turned 100 last year.
"The stopping power of the AF2011-A1 is tremendous," the company states. "Two bullets for a total of 460 Grains weight impacting at 1 to 2 inches apart (depending on the distance of the target) will knock down a bull." That doesn't seem disputable. As you can see in the video below, the kickback looks pretty ridiculous:
I don't know what's more shocking: The fact that this was invented at all, or the fact that it wasn't invented in America.

How could I acquire one for what price? It seems a collectible item and for target practices.
Is there any deviation in the bullet trajectory from the bullets being so close during flight or are the barrels threaded in opposite directions to counter the affects?
I am sure some one in the United States has done something similar or will after seeing this. Nice workmanship and respect shown to the original 1911.
on the other hand it is a bunch of free publicity for the company that made it.
Othervise I kind of like it. I can see granpas showing that gun to grand children under the disapproving watch of their parents.
