Why lug around a bulky tripod when you could hold 'em steady with some string? Instructables schools us cheapskates on MacGyver-ing a monopod, bipod, or tripod rig from some cord and simple hardware. You obviously won't get dead-still shots every time, but this "old photographer's trick" sure beats that lame anti-shake feature that came with your camera.
