Alite Designs is a San-Francisco-based outdoor goods retailer whose goal is to "design things that make you wonder why you're still inside." In addition to carrying items like the Vapur and the Glif, they design and product their own decidedly quirky products:Their Cloverware set of utensils nests neatly within each other, and can be fitted end-to-end to extend their range. They're also made from BPA-free plastic and can withstand cooking temperatures of up to 400 degrees.

The aluminum Twig Pod is a portable monopod with a ball joint and a stake bottom for mounting in grass and soft dirt. Weighing just 1/10th of a pound, the 30" device breaks down to a tidy 7" package.

What really caught our eye is their bizarre-looking S.H. (Sexy Hot) Sleeping Bag. Our first thought was, well, that's clearly a one-person bag; but it turns out the thing is designed to zip two (or more!) together for body heat sharing.

An additional, somewhat ballsy advantage of the S.H.: When you're in the 'bag and not attached to a fellow camper, "you can easily walk around, free your arms, and take a leak."
