This is so, so fresh. And expertly shot and edited. An anonymous artist going by the handle Mudlevel on Vimeo has posted his "robo-rainbow," a clever bicycle-based contraption dubbed a "complicated technical solution to aide in simple acts of vandalism." I'll say no more, you just gotta see it:

The rainbow in itself is very pretty, and the thought that went into the design is obvious, but I fail to see why others should be encouraged to deface property that is not theirs - especially when the owner of the building - whomever it is is now forced at his or her own expense to cover up what has been left.
If someone else was to take a sledgehammer and smash both the bike and the trailer the intention might be different but the act essentially the same.

Since I can't edit what I wrote I'll add the following addendum:
Permission is both inviolate and missing in both cases. Without it even the oppressed become oppressors and are as to blame in their actions as those they would rally against.
Mike.
That is fantastic! I couldn't resist a mischievous smile overtaking my face when the contraption painted the rainbow. Simply wonderful!
Well...that rainbow looks kind of CG. But cool film. And by the traffic signs it looks Sweeedish.
in response to mike's comment - should painting a rainbow on an ugly gray wall ever be unwelcome? if we can shape our environment for the better, surely we should do so. that crap about oppressed and oppressors, wtf?!
