Nevermind the fact that this thing is straight-up fugly. Here's a great example of an object that's been designed with a direct function in mind. Whether you just cleaned out IKEA or actually work in a shop, this Magwear magnetic wrist band surely won't disappoint...but for $18.00, we wish there was at least some kind of ergonomic wrist-hugging curve or a more thought-out band (a piece of velcro? come on, people) or a built-in-compass or something. But at the least, you won't go nuts looking for bolts.

the commercial is pretty funny... be sure to check out all of them.
If I put this on my free (left) wrist, I have to use my busy (right) hand to grab a nail/screw/bolt, then pass it to my free hand to work with it.
If I put it on my busy wrist, my free hand is able to grab things quickly, but then it's going to be flying around all over the place with the busy activity.
Magnetic bib/apron/holster, perhaps? That would keep both hands free...
