I'm amazed at how slick the Conehead looks; I would never have imagined that it was made out of clay. Finding out the process behind an exquisitely finished product can be like learning the secret to a magic trick. The simplest techniques really can lead to the most grand illusions. Check out this dissected Yoshi for an even more detailed project produced via the same methodology (albeit with a bit more hacking and cutting involved).
