Gestalten is one of our favorite design publishers, consistently releasing big, glossy, and captivating tomes, whether monographs or collections of provocative and inspiring themes. They are at it again with their new fall line-up, another set of books that would fit so well on our own bookshelves at home. Included on our wishlist:
Left, Right, Up, Down: New Directions in Signage and Wayfinding, edited by TwoPoints.net. An essential design category merging architecture and graphic design, this collection brings together great examples of navigational nirvana.
Staging Space: Scenic Interiors and Spatial Experiences, edited by R. Klanten, L. Feireiss, and S. Ehmann. Gathering exhibition and event architecture, scenography, media installations, interiors, and stage design examples along with multimedia brand concepts, Staging Space focuses on work that seamlessly combine the visual and spatial.
Torso: T-shirt Graphics Exposed. Edited by Daniel Eckler, founder and editor-in-chief of Formatmag, home to everything street (wear, art, etc), Torso is a look at that ever-changing combo of graphics and style: what's on your shirt.
We're excited to get inspired by and lost in a few of these, or any of the other Gestalten Fall releases, which can be perused here.
