For their latest housewares product, the High & Dry dish rack, Black + Blum have turned to "clean architectural models of futuristic buildings" for inspiration. We aren't sure what buildings they referenced, but the piece definitely shares qualities with the Quadracci Pavilion, Santiago's 2001 addition to the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Created when B+B observed a dearth of good-looking dish racks on the market, this one certainly aims to be visually pleasing. But that's not all: the wave of spires will hold champagne flutes, the drainage tray has a flip up spout to accommodate a range of kitchen set-ups, the whole thing packs completely flat for easy storage, and is completely recyclable.
More pics after the jump.
