The Milan Design Week opens today and last night we already took a glance at some of the countless events that are happening here during this week. The Food Marketo is a collaborative project perceived by Design Marketo and Apartamento Magazine and is half pop up store, half cooking studio, selling contemporary design objects comisioned to over 30 international designers. Featured above is Shai Akram's and Andrew Haythornthwait's fishing kit for for floating apples and non-floating pears, Oscar Diaz' shopping bag, and below a root vegetale lamp by Peter Marigold and Bruno Munari's paperweight collection which was shown on the top floor above the food market.
