As the Art Director - Olympics, you'll envision, craft, and deliver the vision for the global business of Nike for the 2012 London Olympics. You'll oversee brand communication, visual direction, athlete content—such as photography and illustration, consumer events, digital direction, and retail concepts. You'll be a key team member on a broad campaign that will touch every aspect of the brand. This is an expansive role that will expose you to the leadership of the company and position you for future growth within Nike, Inc. You'll develop innovative and creative design solutions for assigned projects supporting brand messages. You'll provide appropriate documentation and works responsibly within project timeframes and budget parameters. You'll lead team and individual ideation and concept activities. You'll create or re-format communication materials to support Nike's networked retail communication efforts. You'll influence and evolve the design and development process. You'll interact with appropriate resources to plan and monitor the process in order to meet specified needs and resolve identified issues. In addition, you'll maintain knowledge of current trends, color, materials relevant to the design discipline, art direction, design, conceptual visuals, environmental design and film/media work.
