We're back in Chicago for the International Home + Housewares Show, where we bring you the best new products and gadgets from the annual event, featuring companies from around the world. As with last year, we're happy to have Design Programs Manager Vicki Matranga give us a rundown of what to expect:

So I was at the show and saw a lot of great stuff besides the Soda Stream and Herb Pot. I hope Core posts more stuff. Brands like Dreamfarm, Joseph Joseph, Menu, Zoku, Tovolo, epicurean, and Chef'n all had great new stuff that is worth checking out. Bodum moved over to the electrics hall, and had a great chandalier using their glass from the vacuum coffee makers. Other brands that had great product were Lifetime brands with new designs throughout their many brands, PMI had some Mason Jar mugs they were giving away to buyers and guest. The show had good work from the students, a good trends section with color and eco-materials showcased, and IHHS had their own design and innovation awards for all the different categories at the show.
