We first came across the stunning woodwork of Vancouver-based designer/craftsman Brent Comber at the ICFF in 2006, this is the 3rd year he's presented in Tokyo and he feels positive that he's finally getting recognition here. All the timber is sourced locally from partner sawmills (odd-sized off cuts), individuals and even collected from the roadside after clearing for firebreaks or construction. Checkout his website for a lot more samples of his work including some strikingly bold interior spaces.
