Chicago's Object Design League (the ODL for those in the know) is pleased to present STORE, the second incarnation of a pop-up shop in conjunction with the 7th Annual Guerilla Truck Show... which is, in turn, held on the occasion of NeoCon 2011.
STORE will host the work of regional designers, presenting a collection of household objects selected for their charm and utility. Among these are reversible tumblers, woven napkin rings, brass trivets, and wooden blocks.
Participating Designers
David M. Krell, Parsons, fferrone design, Seth Keller, Craighton Berman, Lynn Lim, Steven Haulenbeek, Michael Savona, Box 299 Candy, and Neva Everett.
STORE also serves as a sneak peek at ODL's foray into e-commerce, ODLCO, which is set to launch over within the next couple months. Our new venture, ODLCO, opens online later this summer. With a creative outlook that appreciates the rough and the wild, our store will be a place to discover and cultivate peculiarities in our everyday experiences. Shop for objects by international independent designers, anonymous manufacturers and our in-house brand.
ODLCO Preview objects by: Morgan Carter, Gabriel Hargrove, Olivier Lellouche for Design Marketo, Variopinte, and Show Show Room.
While the Morlen Sinoway's ever-growing annual exhibition is tonight ONLY, at Chicago's Fulton Market—from 5:30 - 9:30, if you must know—STORE is open from "2PM til 9:30+" daily from June 13 - 15.
If you're in the Windy City for NeoCon, I suggest you make an enterprising effort to make it out there (cabs are cheap in Chi-Town!); residents have no excuse for not stopping by.
The Object Design League presents STORE 952 West Fulton St Chicago, IL 60607 June 13 - 15, 2:00 - 9:30 PM daily
