This is the best and most amazing thing we saw at the conference that wasn't directed by James Cameron: Zebra Imaging boldly proclaims that they "produce the most innovative holographic products and technology in the world," and after an in-person demo, you walk away convinced. Words can't describe what you need to see with your eyes, so check it out (demonstrated by Zebra's Michael Klug):

Very amazing product! Is there a price in the works? I would love to pitch these to the lead designers at HOK San Francisco. Any ballpark numbers would be great!
Wow.
WOW!
Well, the time to print from 3D to holographics is now.
I am waiting for this since many time ago.
Congratulations to Zebra Imaging.
See you very soon.

It's ironic that I just came across this link today. My company specializes in 3D architectural renderings and illustrations. A gentleman called earlier asking for a scale (physical) model of a building site on a very tight deadline, but we do not work in that medium. I ended up referring him over to another colleague (whom may not be available.)
However, this opens up a lot of potential to circumvent the traditional method of having to produce a physical scale model. - the costs, delivery, accuracy, and time involved in the development of such a product.
Plus, it really has the "cool" factor working for this.
I'll probably be in contact with them very shortly to find out more information. Thank you for posting this link.
