Samsung's Bangle Angle

Here's a design match-up we never thought we'd see: Samsung Electronics has hired Chris Bangle, the design star and ex-BMW-shaker-upper who famously quit the automotive business back in '09.

Bangle, who has been referred to by Motor Trend as "[perhaps] the most influential automotive designer of the early 21st century," is expected to sex up Samsung's cell phone and laptop line-up. And though Bangle's being hired as a consultant, not staff, Samsung is apparently trying to sex him up too: "The firm is also believed to be establishing a new design studio in Europe for Bangle, complete with 10 researchers positioned under him," reports Smart House.Fun words I had to go through and discard while coming up with the title of this entry:

Wrangle, Tangle, Tingle, Mingle, Bingo, Mango, Papaya, Representative Charles Rangel.
