"Industrial Designer" ranks 35th on a list of the best 200 jobs published in The Wall Street Journal, ahead of architects and electrical engineers but behind dieticians and medical secretaries. According to the list, on average ID'ers start at US $31 gees annually--and never quite crack that six-figure barrier. Hum.

And Architectural Drafter sits at 48, while Architects are listed at 86. How's that for irony?
