Abu Dhabi's desert design dreams

These are three of the designer buildings planned for the desert kingdom of Abu Dhabi - Arts Centers, Perfomance Theatres and another Louvre. The royal family has just purchased a sizable portion of the Louvre's collection and will house it for twenty years.

Is anyone else slightly unsettled that some of the world's greatest art treasures are about to be moved to one of the world's most volatile regions?

That aside, these buildings look fantastic.

I find all three, but especially Zinn's (the middle one) to be absolutely stunning.

I can't wait to see them once they are complete.
