After 85 years, the Seattle-based design consultancy Teague has gone global! Just announced: Teague has acquired Signce, a Munich-based design firm specializing in product development and brand strategy for the consumer industry.
John Barratt, Teague president and CEO explains: "The acquisition of Signce is the first step in fulfilling Teague's mission to build a global practice relevant to today's demands. Teague has a long history of business evolution, the addition of Signce supports Teague's commitment to both growth and progression."
Signce's services will be integrated with Teague's to provide a more comprehensive design offer. The acquisition also grows Teague's well-established offer with Signce's expertise in research and strategy, interaction design and product development.
The combined company has a long list of esteemed clients including The Boeing Company, Hewlett-Packard, Leica, Panasonic, Proctor & Gamble, Vodafone,Microsoft, LG, Whirlpool and Nike.
