From Austin to Ahmedabad, the Core77 Design Awards final jury lineup brings together 75 global design superstars! The first annual Core77 Design Awards reaches a deadline for submissions on May 3 with unprecedented global response. An extraordinary line-up of 15 jury teams comprising 75 leading design luminaries have been finalized. The most extensive international grouping of its kind ever assembled, these teams will judge the 15 categories of design endeavor and announce their results with live web broadcasts.

What you are lacking are the bulk of what we do as product designers: Medical products. Consumer products. Industrial machines. Etc. To lump all that vastly different stuff in one category just seems like a huge mistake, while fleshing out every other possible aspect of design, that frankly, is not what is 'showcased' as what ID is all about. Get a book on ID, and you'll see tons of kitchen appliances, electronics, etc, and yet you have categories for none of these things.
